Committees

The Coppermill Property Owners Association is governed by a group of homeowners that volunteer their time and service on the Board of Directors.  Because the Board consists of volunteers, the governing documents allow for Committees to be established by the Board of Directors.  Some Committees are standing committees, that serve the Association on an on-going basis.  Special Committees are developed for specific purposes and are disbanned when the project is complete.  These Committees all report to the Board of Directors who are responsible for making all decisions for the Association.
 
The Coppermill committees are an opportunity for homeowners to focus on a particular area that our organization is involved.  They exclusively deal with one particular issue and one goal. Not everyone feels comfortable talking to people on the street or getting their hands dirty with yard work, so the committees are a great way to pick the part of the organization that is right up your alley.

 

Parking Committee

This committee occasionally meets to discuss parking concerns within the community.  The parking committee members include:

  • Tony Anderson

 

The board is always soliciting individuals who wish to join the parking committee who notify the board of any routine parking violations and parking issues/concerns that may arise

 

Vendor Committee

This committee discusses and reviews vendors that provide services within our community.  The responsibility of this committee is to develop SOWs, RFPs, collect reference information about vendors, compare/contrast the proposals and recommend a vendor to the Board of Directors.  The Vendor Selection ultimately resides with the Board of Directors, but this committee provides all useful information to the board so they can make an informed and unbiased vote.  The members of the vendor committee include:

Architectural Committee
This committee discusses and reviews architectural applications within the community.  The architectural committee members include: 

  • Sherry Moser (lead)
  • Shobha Muarli
  • Sam Morisetty
  • Hernan Navarro
  • Amar Singh

 

Web Content Committee

This is the newest Coppermill committee that is currently being established.  Check out the requirements here to see if you'd like to volunteer for this committee.  This committee meets periodically to update the website, or discuss new or upgraded content placed on the website.  The web content committee members include:

  • Ben Paris (Webmaster)
  • Pradeep Reddy
  • Pushkar Damle
